Draft — pending legal review. This document is a working draft prepared for review. Bracketed passages and binding terms must be finalized by the business owner and legal counsel before publication. Nothing here constitutes legal advice.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website and the mobile massage services provided by Chestermere Mobile Massage Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully. [Acceptance and binding-agreement language to be finalized by legal counsel.]
About our services
We provide mobile massage therapy delivered by Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) who travel to your home, workplace or event within our service area. Each session is tailored to you. We make no medical or health-outcome guarantees.
Booking and payment
Bookings and payments are made through Jane (JaneApp), our secure third-party scheduling and payment partner. When you book, you also agree to Jane’s applicable terms. We are never embedded in, and do not process payments on, this website — any “Book” action hands you off to Jane. [Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirements to be confirmed by the owner.]
Cancellation and rescheduling
Our cancellation policy: you may cancel or reschedule at no charge up to 24 hours before the day of your appointment. Cancellations made after that point — i.e. within the 24 hours before your appointment day — forfeit the appointment fee.
You can reschedule in Jane, subject to the same 24-hour policy. [Exact fee handling, no-show terms and any exceptions to be finalized by the owner and legal counsel.]
Gift cards
Gift cards are designed on our website (preview only) and purchased and redeemed through Jane. [Gift-card expiry, transferability, and refund terms to be finalized by the owner.]
Your responsibilities
- Provide a safe, accessible space for your therapist to set up and work.
- Share relevant information so your therapist can adapt the session appropriately.
- Treat our therapists with respect; we reserve the right to end a session that is unsafe or inappropriate. [Conduct and safety terms to be finalized by legal counsel.]
Disclaimers and liability
[Disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and warranty language to be drafted and finalized by legal counsel. This section intentionally left as a placeholder in this draft.]
Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the applicable laws of Canada. [Jurisdiction, dispute-resolution and venue language to be confirmed by legal counsel.]
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version. [Notice approach for material changes to be confirmed.]
